  4. Put in the replacement cartridge and reinstall the handle and faceplate.
  5. Turn the water supply back on with the handle still in the off position.

  1. Take out the shower head and allow any excess water to drain.
  2. Check if the rubber gasket needs replacement and remains snuggly in place.
